A Know Good & Well Learning Experience
The Roots of Success x NavCourse program is a 10-module, hands-on course that blends environmental education, workforce development, and holistic wellness. Roots of Success, a nationally recognized workforce development curriculum endorsed by the U.S. Department of Labor, in partnership with Know Good & Well and its professional partner organization, NavCourse, has designed this course to help participants understand the powerful connections between people, the planet, and purpose.
Through a mix of classroom learning, field trips, and reflective practice, students explore topics such as sustainability, green jobs, community development, leadership, entrepreneurship, and the social and emotional dimensions of environmental stewardship. Each module is trauma-informed and culturally relevant, centering on real-world applications that make learning meaningful and transformative.
By the end of the course, learners will have:
